Looking at the top 25 through week 3, how many teams have 2 wins over Top 25 teams? Yet LSU is ranked #3 in the Coaches poll, the one poll that does count in the BCS standings. Teams that know how to win, want that #1 ranking, and don't care about having a target on their backs. What has Bama to get a lofty ranking of #2 in the Coaches poll? Not a damn thing. Oklahoma does not deserve their #1 ranking either, but did manage to beat a Top 5 team. LSU does have to play Bama, but suspiciously interesting that LSU is not #1 at this point. Seems almost as if the BCSCG was decided before the season. I thought for once, since God knows when, Oklahoma may have a legit team to send to the BCS Championship game. As for us and Bama, if we handle our business it'll take care of itself so don't sweat it. Even if we got there as #2 we could again handle our business and right the rankings. For those reasons I have no problem with any of those 3 teams being ranked in any order in the top 3.

This reminds me of 2009.. the lsu/alabama game... the interception that wasn't (along with 6 other questionable calls)... seemed like the powers that be had already decided they wanted FL & AL in the SECCG and the winner of that to go to BCSCG... that wouldn't have happened if the refs had called this game 'right'.. I remember a video I watched just last week or so. It was one of the 'sports shows' and the guy was really coming down on the refs in that game and how it was all SEC greed. Are we in for another of those come November?
I'd rather be #2 or #3 at this point of the season... Then we can beat Bama and then ride the #1 ranking through the rest of the season...
