1. I don't get it. LSU should have someone who's number priority for the moment is LSU not the Miami Dlophins. You know darn well, Nick is watcing the game and focussing on getting ready for the Dolphins.

Back in the late 80s hoops coach Bill Frieder left Michigan to take the job at Arizona State. Frieder wanted to coach UM in the ncaa tournament, but Bo Schembecherl who was AD said he wanted a "Michigan Man" to coach the team and the team won the championship.

No disrespect to Nick, but LSU deserves a person who's number 1 job is LSU even if it's for one game and week. Heck give it to Bobby Williams he is perfect in the Capital One/Citrus Bowl and has experience cleaning up after Nick.
  2. He called off the Miami Dolphins press conference tomorrow night.

    Pay attention.

LSU does have someone whose first priority is LSU. His name is Nick Saban.
  3. Dude, if I get what you're implying, Nick tried this in 99 and the president at MSU told Nick good luck at LSU.

No one person is bigger than LSU. Last time I checked football coaches don't sign diplomas.
  4. Since you seem to have so much to say about how we do things here, how about getting your Daddy to pony up $12 for you to help out Brett, Ralphie? I mean, certainly the Chief of the Springfield PD could afford THAT much, couldn't he?
  5. Let Saban coach.

It gives the players the best chance to win.
  6. Brett Favre is the coach of the Green Bay Packers. He won on Christmas Eve versus the Vikings.

  7. And cheap is still cheap any way you choose to dodge it.
  8. I am having very mixed feelings about Saban coaching the bowl game. My concern is that it is very awkward for Saban to fire up the team to play for him (perceived as the coach who is leaving them behind into uncertainty, or putting it in another way, high and dry). It's been a painful experience for all fans and I am sure the players. He may not be effective, as so much of football is played on emotion.

  9. Tell that to the kids on this team that he recruited. That's why I am not opposed to him coaching our beloved TIGERS. The football team deserves him because it is unfinished business. At least he had enough guts to want to coach this team for the last time. It's so easy for me to tell him him to go to hell until I put myself in his shoes. Just remember he wasn't raised on LSU football as an infant like the majority of us were. Besides, why should we get petty? If it wasn't for Saban we prolly wouldn't be in this bowl game. Let's enjoy it and we can all move on after we stomp the ***** out of the Hawks.

*If there isn't a filter don't blame me. :hihi:
  10. I was worried when NS was going to Miami tomorrow but since he cancelled his trip I feel better about the whole situation.

    He should coach on Saturday!
