Roy King was "In over his Head" just as much as is Johnny Jones. Duplicate situations. Johnny was Dale's Boy and Roy was Frank's Boy. No denying that the overall quality of the GBFTL has declined since King took over 5 years ago. The proof is in the pudding. TB halftime shows are incredibly boring, dull, unimaginative and very predictable! There is no creativity or imagination in the halftime show design. We were doing more exciting and creative stuff than this back in the late 70's and early 80's. That's one of the main reasons that Tiger Stadium empties at halftime. Nobody wants to stay in their seat and watch that musical snooze fest! It's not Rocket Science either. Not that hard to put on an entertaining halftime show that will keep people in their seats, but this task seemed to escape Roy. Was way past time for a change. Now, LSU has to just go out and hire a Marching Band Nick Saban for the permanent position. There are plenty out there to choose from.......................
