    And the jackleg that wrote it is no Aubie. He is a basketball yankee that somehow got a column in our local fishwrapper.


    Newspapers in Alabama are jokes for the most part. The Mobile Register is my personal favorite for state sports, but they don't give me the local stuff for Birmingham.
