LSU 3 Ark-LR 2 start of the 4th. Dirk gave up a two run shot in the first, but he has settled down. Tigers are looking promising this season. Also heard from a friend of the team that the team has issued an 11 pm curfew on the weekends, unlike last year when they had no curfew and could be seen at Tiger Bar over the weekends.

Tigers look to make a big time run this season.

Tied up 3-3 bottom of the 4th. Dirks gave up a walk and a single to drive the run home. Think Faircloth/Nall will be coming in at the top of the 5th.

LSU 5 Ark-LR 3 ... Mayer scores run unearned ... Stav scores unearned also, runners at 2nd and 3rd... still the bottom of the 4th.

LSU 7 Ark-LR 3... all unearned as LR errors on a few plays... its broken open now... time to bring in a mid reliever and then let Nall close it out.

Tigers getting some run production now... LSU 9 Ark-LR 3 bottom of 5th... inning over. Top of the 6th Dardar in for Dirks.

Dardar gives up a two run shot LSU 9 Ark-LR 5... still think Smoke should have subbed in Faircloth or Nall... but maybe he is keeping them in reserve for Smith tommorow.

LSU 9 Ark-LR 6... LR closes out the inning with another run. Don't know why Smoke subbed Dardar, think Faircloth would have been a better chioice. If he is leaving Faircloth/Nall for tommorow, that still doesnt make since b/c both are sidearm relievers. I think that u would want to split their relief instead of having them both pitch relief in the same game.

Add: Inning isnt over... the audio from lsusports.net is screwed up so i am posting based on stats... so i am a little off.

Isn't it fun to try to make sense out of early season coaching decisions in baseball? :)

Strange to see Mayer is dhing today, rather than Blake Gill, and J.P. Padron is playing 3rd base. Guess Smoke is just having fun playinging kids.
