lets not make predictions, lets just "go out, compete, execute and play like a team for 60 minutes" haha gotta love coach saban (reason why he is the best coach infootball) i'll say 49-7, why so low, coach saban has, whats that word.. oh yea class, he doesnt run up the score on lowly teams to make himself feel better about his team but we dominate for the first half, then saban calls off the dogs for one boring 2nd half
34-7 good guys and let me throw in that we can't afford to call off the dogs. I think we will need the offense to execute the whole game no matter what the score is. I picked a lower score because I'm not so sure this offense will be in high gear and so much better than last week. The reason I say this is these new guys including our qb's need all the execution they can get in a game situation, kinda like a practice in a game. They need all the pt they can get with new qb's and wr's. They need to be able to execute the whole game to get ready for the brutal SEC Schedule.
LSU 41 ASU 7 JV and Alley get back track on the 1st quarter and put us up 14-0 after 1. JaMarcus comes on strong in the 2nd quarter, leads us to two TD's and a FG, but ASU sneaks a TD in. 31-7 at the half. JaMarcus leads the Tigers to another FG on the opening drive in the 3rd quarter. Just before the end of the 3rd, Matt Flynn makes his debut as a Tiger and throws a TD pass to Early Doucet. Tiger D gives up just over 200 yards, Tigers gains over 450 yards of total offense.
70-7 I know Nick dosen't like to run up the score but JaMarcus needs all the playing time he can get and Flynn needs to get some late game experience actually running the offense instead of just mopping up.
Saban is a classy guy yada yada yada. He was very dissapointed last year when he would put the number 2's in and they would not execute and score or stop the other team from scoring. For that matter they would not move the ball. To not run up the score would be like saying this next group coming in could not score against a high school team. Saban may not do anything creative in the last 2 minutes or so if we are ahead 30 something points however I don't think he call of the dogs and quits trying to score or hold them to no scores. I just think the next group did not execute. I saw that last year when we could not move the ball and saw it again Saturday. The guy is a winner and will not allow a player or himself not to compete for 60 minutes. LSU 52+ ASU 10
