This right here. I have lost all interest in the NBA and NFL a long time ago. College sports what my one last hold out. But with the current direction I am losing interest in the likes of the big time colleges. I now attend small college games like Nicholls, etc when I take in a game. Maybe I should go back to watching Rugby (LOL)

For one play yes, but what about beyond that? What are the chances of winning the game in overtime compared to having the ball for one play on the 2 yard line?..especially since they had just executed the previous play with the same field position for a touchdown. Not to mention the extra wear and tear on the team and chance of injuries for a non conference opponent? I don't see the logic for going into overtime in that situation!

If you don’t convert you lose.

You can also lose in overtime!!! You can also lose by missing the extra point!

what happens if you don't convert the XP?
you go for the damn win! we didn't deserve to be in the game. why would you want to keep playing? you can win the game on one play. go for the win. I'm tired of that les miles/Jim mora mentality of playing not to lose.

Going for 2 is desperate. I felt good about our chances in OT. Whatever the case, this is the LAST thing I’d be complaining about after that game. So much other stuff to complain about.
