Looks like we could play the winner of the Kansas/chOke-lahoma B12CG for the National Title. I don't know who well we match up with OU, they haven't had much of the spotlight this year.

It's looking that way but if you take a gander past Oklahoma and Kansas you will notice it's pretty wide open. Thank God we have such a strong team this year that even with 1 loss we are considered the #1 team. We just need to take care of business and we can play for it all in New Orleans. I really don't care who we play. But beating Oklahoma twice for the BCSNC has a nice ring to it. I don't know if there is another team that has ever beaten Oklahoma twice in NC games.

If both teams win out, I think it's a done deal. Oklahoma's freshman quarterback has had a hell of a season. He may be the next Heisman sweetheart after Dixon went down. OU has some good rb's and a stout receiver. Their secondary is suspect again this year. It could be a stressful time in my world.:milesmic:

OU fans would go nuts is Les beat them again, especially in a BCS championship.

Oh that's right, I forgot about the Les Miles angle on this for Sooner fans. Yep, your right, Okie might do a major melt down to loose to Les again. He's really been a thorn in their side. :milesmic: wins a lot of big games for someone who can't coach.

Bradford has had a great season.

I think this team presents our toughest matchup problem. They can clearly pass the ball, and pass it quite well. But of course so could Mr. White back in 03. It will all depend on how well our corners cover their receivers. It could be another Texas/USC classic, somewhere along the lines of 41-38.

Their defense is not as stout as in years past, but still pretty good. Enough to give us trouble at times.

At this point, I am hoping Kansas stays undefeated, and hangs 70 on their remaining schedule. Then of course never crosses the 50 when we meet them in New Orleans.

Remember we have the coach to do it... What is Miles' record against Stoops at Oklahoma? With an inferior Okie-St team ta boot. :miles: :LSU231:

I'm not sure but I thinkMiles's record is 2-2 or 2-3, but you are right, he did it with an OK state team with inferior talent. They destroyed OU one year on passing. Sooners hate us for all the following:

    1. Les Miles
    2. The loss in 2003
    3. They feel like every LSU fan is a drunken SOB and were crude and rude 4. They hate TigerBait

    2-2 i believe.

and all of the reasons you list is spot on. except i have met a few that had a good time and embraced lsu fans and tailgating with them at the sugar. but very few.

however, we still have to run the table to get there. but if we do, i can get a lot more mileage out of beating ou than i can ks.
