1. BATON ROUGE – LSU’s non-conference game on Saturday, Sept. 26 against Syracuse in the Carrier Dome will start at 11 a.m. CT (noon ET), the ACC and SEC announced on Monday.

The LSU-Syracuse game will be televised on either ABC or ESPN, the league offices announced. It will be LSU’s first trip visit to the Carrier Dome for a football game and just the third meeting between the teams.

LSU and Syracuse last met in the 1989 Hall of Fame Bowl (now the Outback Bowl) with the Orange posting a 23-10 win over the Tigers. Prior to that, the teams met in the 1965 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans with the Tigers winning, 13-10.

Pregame on the LSU Sports Radio Network will begin at 9 a.m. CT.
  2. Booooooo! I would really be pissed if I was going to the game. Bad enough for that early on TV.
