Thought I would bring this one back up. Was hoping to meet some of you for this game and still have a few beers despite the shitty kick off time.
I booked a hotel (finally) for Sat. night in Auburn, 22 miles from the 'Cuse. I waited to get something as I thought we had kids sports and other crap to do at home. I am more than willing to make gumbo and tailgate for this crappy kickoff time. My wife pointed out that tailgating is awesome after a win like at Vandy or Kentucky on an early kick. If anyone knows somebody not using their downtown hotel, let me know. I can fit a bunch of stuff in my Excursion to have a good before and after party. (the wife knows she has to drive).
Yes, we want the review of the one tent that is there tailgating... I went to a Syracuse game a few years ago and it was rather sparse tailgating to say the least. Definite culture shock.
The quotes didn't really give confidence that people were interested in the tailgate. I may be too sensitive like LaSalle pre-testing.
