Glad to see we continued to battle. I am still highly concerned about our D. An honest assessment would show that if they had any sort of passing game, it would have been a very different outcome. In addition, there was about two offensive series when we looked decent (opened things up a bit over the middle, etc.), but that needs to be tempered with the way the rest of the game looked, and the fact that Wis. lost two starters on an already brand new D line.

Its a win, but an ugly one. Sometimes that is what you have to take, but hopefully we can show some massive improvement in the coming weeks.

Didn't go through & read many of the pages on this thread but from what I did read most people are thinking a lot like me. Hopefully we get a lot better before we play MOO U.

The next two games give Les & the staff an opportunity to address and hopefully improve some of the weaknesses we saw last night.

Freshmen are going to play like freshmen. Fournette, Harris, and Dupree will make their marks this season.

To be fair, that gameplan had CLM written all over it. When CLM gets more confidence in his QB, he'll let CCC open it up more. Funny thing is that his o-line looked like crap, and he prob has lots of confidence in them. He needs to just let CCC do his thing and call the game how he sees fit.

This is spot on. It looked like Iowa all over again on offense. 2nd half the Tigers got it together, the shorter routes started getting completed, the offense and the D started making plays. On D Rasco played a good game, so did Kwon and Jalen Mills and Jalen Collins, along with Dewayne Thomas. The secondary is impressive, they remind me of that 2011 team when you talk about depth at corner and safety, they are pretty darn good without Robinson, when they get him back they will be formidable against the pass. It's the middle that worries me. No real pressure from your front 4, and middle linebacker continues to be an issue. Hopefully Wisconsin is just that good on the ground, because against the Alabama and Auburn ground games we are going to get pushed around as well, unless we load the box and trust our secondary to get it done in man.

On offense Miles and company need to trust Jennings. He is your qb, trust him. When you put your faith in the guy he has big play ability.
