I heard that on ESPN today. I forgot who said it, whoever was with Trev and Mark. They were talking about the LSU/Chicken game and how that "made" the Chickens season. Am I just retarded or is there a stipulation that, as defending National Champions, when you lose a game you lose that distinction, that your championship becomes null and void?
I saw that, just brushed it off... I think they meant that at the beginning of the season we still had the intimidation factor of being defending nat'l champs but now with 2 losses we will not "defend" our title
eh, thats not as bad as how they keep refering to USC the mighty "Co-National Champions" There can only be one, and that was us! :angryfire
Have you noticed how they don't even use the "Co" anymore. It has become simple USC is set to defend their National Championship. I hope that when it is all said and done USC gets screwed again. For 2 reasons 1. I hate USC that much. And 2. If it happens again the playoff system will be a shoe in.
