...Was looking up some Hawkeye stuff for my data base and came across this link to LSU's all-time scores by opponent, by season... it even lists your opponents final record for each season you played them.

In 1907 we lost to Bama 4-6.

In 1908 we went 10-0. After looking it up I found that we were named national champs by the National Championship Foundation. We were also named Champs in 1935 and 36 by Williamson. So I guess that gives us 5 MNC's. :hihi:

This may not be a compete list but Bama was only listed 11 times. Don't they have like 32 MNC's? :hihi:

i now officially hate Penn, Minnesota, Princeton, and SMU for splitting MNC's with us.
especially in '08. Penn had a tie. way to slip in on a technicality with that whole "undefeated" thing, penn, you quaker punks!!!!!

I'm not sure how much I trust "hickoksports". For example, they have USC listed and tied for the 2003 MNC and we all not that is inaccurate.
