Here is the scoop, M.R.E. form, ready to be devoured: http://www.2theadvocate.com/stories/121005/lsu_peach001.shtml
An ESPN article didn't have Les Miles in the list of possible successor so I think no changes will occur. I would really be a bad move for Les. Yes we have a lot of expectations here, but that is mainly b/c of the wealth of talent. CU has some talent, but expectations will be high there also. They will expect more than 7-5 in a very weak Big 12 North. That article didn't have Houston Nutt on the list of possible replacements. Maybe Nutt has bought him another year.
It's interesting that after his first season at LSU (10-2-by the way) that there is even speculation that he's interested in another job. How do these rumors get started? Is he interested in another job? Is he really happy at LSU? Seems to me it's just more of the same Uncertainty, Uncertainty, Uncertainty that's we as fans have witnessed all season whether in his coaching style or his decision making process.
1) Colorado recruiting sites paste a picture of him on the front pages and call him a "candidate". 2) Internet morons notice the first big-time vacancy, note that CLM once coached there, think how much they would love it if he leaves, and start spreading a made-up rumor.
I hope this is true now the team can get on with playing football and getting better for next year and not have to worry about if the coaches are going to leave. Man that would really devestate recruiting hope the rumors have ceased!
Along the same lines, Pellini indicated that he wants to be a HC, but hasn't been contacted yet. How would that affect recruiting of the defense players? ________ Colorado Marijuana Dispensaries
