I just now thought I saw something about Notre Dame considering Mac Brown for the head coaching job. It was scrolling across the bottom of the screen on ESPN. Did anyone else see this?
I guess Mac is tired of getting beat by OU and Stoops every year. ND might be his best shot at a BCS bowl game. LSUDAN

I don't think many people realize that there actually is a clause in the BCS contract that says that when Notre Dame wins 10 games, they are automatically in a BCS bowl game. They said that on PTI today (ESPN). I imagine it has to do with the fact that they are not in a conference and have such a tough schedule. Of course if Notre Dame has 10 wins, I can't see how they don't make the top 6 in the BCS.
