I posted the same question in reply to the sugar bowl DVD subject, so I apologize for the repetition, but I was inquiring to see if there are tapes or preferably DVD's of Pete Maravich's LSU basketball games available for purchase. I graduated in '72 so I got to see all of his home games for 2 years in person, and would like to re-live some of those moments with my kids who are now at LSU. Thanks.
I was going to buy some dvd's of Pete's games from back then. I believe it was a set of 3 games together but I think they were the NBA and not at LSU though.I got outbid and then forgot all about it  I'll have to try again soon! My dad use to or still has almost all Pete's games on reel to reel.(LSU) I'm pretty sure he still has them, just not positive.
My fiance's (tigerlandgal) father played at SLU for 2 years and had to the chance to guard Maravich in parker. He said as soon as Pete would come across halfcourt you never knew what he was going to do. He said he never had so much fun playing against somebody. Boy I wish I was old enough to have seen him play. :geaux:
Do you know how to convert a Realplayer file (.rm) to another format? I have the Pete Maravich Homework Basketball instructional tapes on .rm on CDs. You can watch them on a computer but it dosen't work when I put them in the DVD player. I want to get them into a format where they can be watched on a TV screen.
Try this place, this gentlemen is always looking to trade and has an extensive liabrary, don't know if he has any Pete tapes: http://webpages.charter.net/lsumac/index.html
