A question from an OSU fan. Just heard Marcus Spears on a local radio station in Dallas (the ticket). To be honest, Marcus came across as one of the nicest and genuine guys (Dallas Cowboy) I've heard on the radio. He was humble, down to earth, and seemed to have a good sense of humor. My question is: was this really Marcus or is he just good at putting on an image? Also is he a leader? The Cowboys could certainly use one that comes across as a real person. Really impressed. Thanks
Thats just how he is. ON draft day he went fishing. He is just and all around great guy. And yes he is a very good leader.
Yes, you heard the young man in his true form. Here is a recent thread about him from a cowboys fan that was asking similar things: > Link to Thread <
I go to school with him (well... DID) at LSU and I've ran into him on a couple occasions. He's a genuinely nice guy and he's always willing to help people. He's real approachable and easy to talk to.
Thanks for the responses. Especially thankyou to 99 who posted the previous thread. As an OSU fan I know the joy of watching former and high performer/character OSU players, namely Barry Sanders. Hopefully Marcus will convert you guys to Dallas Cowboy fans. Good luck with Les
Anyone seen the billboard at the I-10 acadian exit? Its a picture of Marcus Spears during a game and above it it says "Thanks to BR and LSU for 4 great years" or something close to that. I didn't have a chance to read it all, but I was guessing it was from Marcus Spears. Pretty cool, I will try and catch it again tomorrow.
I saw it, but when I was trying to read it the a-hole in the next lane honked because he thought I was coming into his lane. :hihi:
