I simply cannot believe that David Pollack was selected prior to Spears. I wish he had gone to a team that I did not despise. I wish Spears all the luck in the world. Matt Jones went 21 to Jacksonville. What a silly pick, maybe it is a good thing that we did not get Jack Del Rio. I am still shocked.
Both players will get to prove themselves on the field. I don't think you could go wrong with either Pollack or Spears. Matt Jones, a different story, I don't know? :shock:
As a huge draft fan, i've never missed a minute of draft coverage since around 1995. Jones is concidered by many, the best athlete in the draft. A physical 6'6, 240lb. WR/H-back type who runs a 4.4 with ease. While I think the 21st overall pick is a little bit of a reach, I think he's definitely worth a high 2nd round pick.
