Seven Saints Out For Sunday; LB Simoneau To Miss Year

The New Orleans Saints placed linebacker Mark Simoneau on the injured reserved list Friday.Simoneau, who also missed the season-opener against Tampa Bay last weekend, has a lingering back injury that requires season-ending surgery.

New Orleans will also be without three defensive starters for this weekend's upcoming game at Washington. Linebacker Scott Fujita (knee), safety Roman Harper (hamstring) and cornerback Randall Gay (hamstring/illness) have been listed as out. Tailback Aaron Stecker (hamstring) has also been ruled out of the game, along with star receiver Marques Colston (thumb) and defensive tackle Antwan Lake (groin).
