In our neverending quest for truth, the obvious came before my eyes this past weekend against NT. Matt Flynn is "da bomb". Imagine LSU with a vertical passing attack ... completing multiple 40+ yard TD strikes ... am I dreaming or what? Who do I have to blow to watch this every week? Flynn was a flawless 7/7 for 100% completion percentage with 3 TDs ... ~Z~E~R~O~ Picks, zero fumbles ... Air LSU ... ****ing finally! Where has LSU's vertical passing game been all season long? It's been sitting on the bench getting splinters in it's ass, that's where. Flynn has proven that he has a complete grasp of the LSU system! I'd like to see him get two equal quarters in the next game and do it again! I guarantee you Flynn would make JR look like a clown ... and put up more scores ... So, he doesn't have JR's arm ... big ****ing deal, few do! He's proven to 90K + that he can toss "LONG-STRIKE TDs" ... something sorely lacking in the LSU arsenal Miles better be ready to pull the plug on JR in the Bama game if JR goes into a funk and throws a stupid pick or fails to move the team after a few series ... NT's defense wasn't anything like Bama's ... but I think a QB with Flynn's confidence, mobility, field vision and the ability to connect with open receivers in a vertical passing game give LSU coaching an extra option or two in the upcoming Bama game. Fire JR & start Flynn ... nah, not just yet! But a smart coach should have the NUTSACK to pull JR and play Flynn. In any regards, Flynn has earned increased playing time against App State. I CAN'T BELIEVE MY EYEBALLZ ... I GOTZ TO SEE FLYNN TOSSING LONG TDS AGAIN! I GOTZ TO SEE IT AGAIN ... CUZ IT'S TOO DAMNED GOOD TO BE TRUE! LUVVVVITTTT, LUVVVVVITTT .... GIMME MO UVVVVVITTTTT
You are a clown! North Texas gave up by that time Their DB is even quoted in the paper as saying he gave up... All of his WRs were WIDE open... A decent high school QB could have made those throws... The play that impressed me the most believe it or not was the scramble, because I didn't realize he was that fast
Attention Attendants: At 2:00 p.m. turn Ramah over so he can go back to sleep.....and check his Depends.
The receivers impressed me more than anything. Flynn made some good throws on a bad defense and the receivers did the rest. Flynn looked good & a very capable backup, but he is still not at JR's level of ability - not just physically, but everything.
Yes, back in 1999...however close inspection reveals that maybe there was something to learn from that game and the box score: Josh Booty 9-14-0-86; Rohan Davey 6-6-0-66
Gotta love ramah. Without ever opening the thread, I know what I'm going to get. It will be something controversial, and there will always be people taking the bait. Your either a moron or a genius, I haven't figured out which yet. :hihi:
