Matt is tearing it up for Green Bay today. Must be something in the Green Bay uniform that turns him to a QB.
I questioned why Matt Flynn wasn't on the phone the minute Rodgers got hurt. He comes in ONLY after they lose the next 2 games, too late to start last week and doesn't even start today, only to save them from a sure loss. Good for Green Bay for making such a horrendous decision of not getting Flynn in as the starter IMMEDIATELY. 3 losses and a tie later, you're probably done with a loss at Detroit on Thanksgiving.
Because its come to a point where that meathead of a coach's pride has gotten in the way, Flynn made him look stupid on Sunday.
Well, maybe that's it, but I would have been a bit reticent, too, if I just brought in someone who had not practiced with the current offensive players at all (he's been in their system, but they have new receivers, RBs, and O-linemen since he was there), and was released by 3 different NFL teams in 2 years. Signing him was one thing, but they had to get comfortable that he was the best guy for the job given how much had changed since he was last there.
well, to be fair, there whole team was awful. they were awful on special teams, defense, o-line, QB, all of it.
I gotta give the dude credit for making it to the end, or at least the end when i stopped watching which was in the 3rd. He was getting killed out there.
