just imagine if Lafell hadn't run the option with the auburn DB... Flynn would have had 35 more yards and no INTs

Matt Flynn is having a great season. The guy has worked so hard and been so patient to earn this right to be our starting QB. The high ankle sprain slowed him down but now he's back at full strength just in time to finish out our season. :thumb:

He was great this week, but the GeauxTuscaloosa Offensive Skill Position Player of the Week was DJ Hall of Alabama. That's not to take anything away from Flynn, but there were a lot of GAUDY stat lines in the SEC this week. Woodson had over 400 yards passing and 5 touchdowns. Tebow had 4 touchdown passes and a run. JP Wilson had almost 400 yards passing. Hall had a whopping 13 catches for 185 yards and two touchdowns. Receivers just don't have better games than that.

Congrats Flynn. Way to bounce back from a long healing injury, some shakey games due to the injury. Way to lead the team in the 2nd half. The passing was very accurate and I only spotted one bad decision even though it worked out beautifully. That was the pass to Doucet in triple coverage, or was that Byrd? I was upper deck so I missed the number.

Other than that his game was spectcular and he needed that his confidence.
Congrats to Matt and it is well deserved.

    I believe that was Doucet.

I am very glad Matt persisted and silenced his critics who were on his back after the Kentucky game.
