All that talk about David Greene leading up to this game, not to much mentioned by the media about Mauck, but just as calm, cool and collected as Greene if not more. We need him to stay healthy!!!! GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mauck is awesome.. like an ice cube out there under fire.. Greene has had more hype but all Mauck does is win..Wonder how this affected Greene's Hiesman campaign.. for as Schockley.. He should stay out of the kitchen... can't stand the heat.. Clayton earned his money today.. what a blocker.. he got a bad call out there..

I do not always agree with the play calling like when we get away from the power running game and keep using the shotgun with 4 and 5 receiver sets over and over again, but that is not Mauck's fault (and might not be a fault at all). I also think we got lucky that a couple of throw aways were not picked off, but what a heck of a throw to Green. He had just fumbled the drive before. He knew he was going to get nailed and to get the throw off in time he opened himself up to a bigger hit to the body. He may not be a Greene type passer, but he proved to me today that he will do what it takes to win.

To be fair with Greene, the Heisman crap was over-rated to begin with. He is good but his #'s will never be there.

As for Shockley, oh god bench him. I have never...ever liked him.

Not at all. Many were just defending them from the "Greene and Pollack are over-rated" threads. Yes, some idiots on here (obvious to tell they are 15-16 year olds) wrote bogus threads but I think that both deserve what they got in addition to both being reigning players of the year. Their stats and records speak for themselves.

But, they were sustained today and thats why we lost. You sustain a teams best players, you win.

I was sure hoping Shockley would finish the game.
