    Matt kept it short.

    Saban is praising him now.

A little bit of a shocker to me, but good luck to Matt and his future wife. We are in good hands with Jimbo working with Matt Flynn and Jamarcus Russell. Thanks Matt! You are a true Tiger and will be remembered for all of your great accomplishments.

I guess if your are the QB and you have taken your team to the top, there isn't anywhere else to go except to the next level. Thanks for giving it your all Matt !

I'd enjoy the bench and 400k per year.

You know, he probably has already decided that the NFL isnt his thing, but it cant hurt to try. If he gets drafted, great. He can see how it goes, and make some cash in the process. If not, he just sticks to the original plan and goes to school.

    come on man.....support Mauck's decision.

I actually think that this was the right decision for Mauck....hell, if he were to come back, he might have been on the bench at LSU if the 2 freshmen are all they are cracked up to be.

Good Luck Mauck....and thanks for the National Championship!!

Well he's got similiar characteristics as Jake Delhomme. Good mobility, can run with it if he has to, throws a nice tight spiral, a smart quarterback.

So who knows. I still say it's a mistake when you were guranteed no worse than maybe the 3rd-5th QB coming out of next years draft.

He deserves to do well. Go prove us all wrong.
