Maybe loss helped?

I am always under the impression that a loss never helps a team, but with this squad maybe it will light a fire under them and get them ready to take on Miami. What do you all think?:helmet:

Are you going to try for three threads of the same subject?

Maybe. But if we had won the game we wouldn't be facing a team as good...

I worry about this Miami game.

An interesting note, today when Miles met with the Peach Bowl committee they told him they had just gotten back from Miami and that Miami was pumped. Miles responded, "Well they'd better be, we're gonna bring it", dead faced, cold stoned serious.

    I hope he's right.

I think a few weeks of rest will help the Tigers even more. They looked weary out there last Saturday.

Don't be a smartarse. There is something causing multiple posts/threads lately. It's been happening quite frequently.

You seem to like losses a lot. Are you still glad JR got hurt?

Missing a late season open week is bigger than some want to admit. Fresno can run their mouths all they want, but that is the reason AU would not put them on the schedule. You need a chance to get your legs back. Emotionally and physically, LSU didn't catch a break this year.

In addition to the time they needed for rest and healing, I hope the team comes together , do some soul searching and regroup. They need something to fire up their motivation. I would like to see Flynn start the game; too bad he hadn't been given much chance of game experience, but I hope his smartness and poise can help carry the team. Being put into fire in the Georgia game hopefully helped him grow fast. The interception was a painful lesson, but I have a feeling he learned from that one. I have hopeful the receivers would be able to catch his balls better (not having to deal with balls that dive down so that they have to go to the ground to catch them).
