1. It might help Miami.

    The guy was clueless.

You see that 2 minute offense vs Cal?
  2. The worst offensive coordinator I have ever seen. He needed to go.
  3. Nix is coming out saying that he wanted to open up the offense but Shannon wanted to play it conservative.

Shannon is gonna keep the U mediocre. Too bad for U fans that it will take another 3 years for the brass to realize this.
  4. good coach, in a bad situation.
  5. I did see the 2-minute offense. Left much to be desired. It reminded me of what JJ and LSU offensed looked like at Arkansas' 45 yard line with enough time to get into field goal range for the win.
  6. I'm totally lost.

He has one of the best recruiting classes year after year and has the full support of a very powerful university and he's in a "bad situation"?
  7. both coaches (Nix and Shannon) with their collective thumbs up their collective asses and 30 seconds go by before they call a timeout with only 12 seconds left near midfield.

    geez.

shannon is way in over his head.
  8. I think that the instability in the Miami U program (particularly Offense) could cause some of it's offensive prospects to waiver, if they are not hard-sold on the program, yet.

This could be a positive for LSU (and others), if we are a finalist for the prospect(s).

This is Patrick Nix's 2nd year at the U, he had nothing to work with in 07...and very young talent this year. He did a good job at GT before coming to Miami. An apparently so was Robert Marve,in a Bad Situation, he's transferring...he has some stipulations that he can not sign with a ACC or SEC school, if granted release from Coach Shannon. But looks like coach Shannon is dividing the house at the U, and it might be real ugly for a good while, before it gets better.
