Even so, it makes you wonder. Not to take anything away from Miami because it was a hell of a win but don't agree that they should jump an unbeaten Bama.

Interesting that only two votes seperate the two in the AP and only fourteen in the USA Today poll.

Why the hell is a 2 loss Notre Dame team ranked ahead of a one loss Virginia Tech team?

Because it's Notre Dame. I've literally had reporters with votes in the polls say they voted ND high simply "because they are Notre Dame and you are supposed to do that with votes."

I have to disagree with the notion the AP poll is meaningless. If it disagrees with the BCS on who is number 1 at the end of the year, you'll have another split championship. They may not be part of the BCS anymore, but their poll does indeed carry a lot of weight still.

Why is miami getting so much love.

VT always craters end of season.

Weak miami schedule. Lost to Fla. St only other decent team they have played. BC showed their strength.

Well it will be interesting to see what happens.

Let USC or Texas lose one coming in and it will be a free for all and the same problem will be there with the one losss teams all fighting for the other slot.

    Oh boy he we go.
