His decision making the last few years has been horrible.

We've been on the decline since Bounty Gate and it's not getting any better. Add to that it seems like SP doesn't give a shit anymore.

We need to clean house and start over, imo.

I agree. I don't think he'll be back next season either.

Rouxleaux Do I get bonus points if I act like I care?

Hopefully but with all the crap that has gone on with LSU and the miles cluster I can't get my hopes up. Loomis has really screwed this team from top to bottom. It's going to take several years to get out from this cluster.

The salary cap is going to be a problem for the next couple of years. Waaaaay too much money tied up in over priced free agents. The Saints are going to have to do what they should have from the beginning, build through the draft.

Belichick misses a lot but evaluates like a mf in free agency knowing when to dump his vets.

It's been a 2-part collapse over the past few years. Letting the salary cap get away is the first part. But the second part, complete incompetence in the draft, may have been fixed with the hiring of Jeff Ireland. In the '16 season, I think you see Anthony and Kikaha entrenched as established starters, Peat takes over RT from Strief and Davieson moves in as a starting DT. P.J. Williams and Davis Tull come off the IR and should battle for playing time, and if Swan can put the concussion bug behind him, he will at the least be the nickel back and may even challenge for a starting role. If Ireland can score that well again in the draft, we'll have gone a long way to seeing a new core roster established. My bet is, Benson will give Loomis one more year to make that happen.

Jamie Collins, Chandler Jones, Mayo, Hightower, Butler (UFA), McCortey, Edelman, Gronk, Brady. That's a ton of draft hits.
