1. a head case.

I know he's young and he's super talented. But the Vikings were totally in his head last night. All receivers get roughed up a bit. NFL corners try anything to throw you off. AJ, Julio, and Antonio Brown go through the same stuff, but they handle it and make their opponents pay. Perhaps he got used to running free down the field against college corners, but he's in the big leagues now...

Now, those guys are all older than Odell, so he certainly still has time to change. But his interview last night was a little concerning because it's obvious that he still doesn't get it.

    Sorry. Fire away.

  2. He's had a great start to his career. That doesn't make my point invalid. Chad Johnson had a good start to his career too...

  3. Absolutely agree. Those guys are gonna keep pushing those buttons until he proves that he can control himself.
  4. Agreed. Xavier Rhodes was even trying to calm him down at first. He's costing his team and that's gonna hurt him in the long run if he doesn't get it in check.
  5. And it will only get worse. I saw a story in the summer relating back to the Josh Norman game last year. It pretty much said every corner he plays against is going to take every shot they can at him. Looks like it was a good story because they have all come after him thus far.

Dude needs to take a step back for sure.
  6. If he'd just let his play speak for him and let the rest roll off his back, I bet it would change a corner's outlook.

  7. Maybe, I think they are still bent over the cheap shots.

With so many people trying to get to him and help (Eli, Macadoo et al ) makes you wonder why he won't listen. Head Case is right
  8. Did not see game, but was amazed how he was crucified by national sports media this morning. I will have to roll the video on this one!
