I don't think anyone overlooked anyone. Simply put, the coaching staff is not getting the job done to get this team ready for big SEC games on the road. The record speaks for itself. If Miles and company are overlooking AU and UF, then they need to go now. No sense waiting until the end of the year, for example. Anyway, I don't think that is the problem. Miles might be in over his head, but the jury is still out on that one.
Perriloux was going to sign with Saban. He started to second-guess that decision when Saban went to the Dolphins. Miles saved Perriloux, that's all. Let's not revise history.
Revising history? Perrilloux was a verbal to Texas up until after Saban left. Just because you figure that he was going to sign with LSU anyway, that is just speculation. So you are right, try not to revise history.
Whose the say Perilloux will be hear in one or two years anyhow??? This thing could implode fast. The wheels may be coming off. We have Skip in potential hot water with the NCAA and an inept coach.
Maybe I got it wrong, but my recollection was that he was inclined to sign with LSU but that Saban's departure put all of that into question. At any rate, it doesn't matter. It is what it is, isn't it?
Zook never won 10 games and was the best recruiter UF ever had while he was here. The year he was fired he was putting on of the best recruiting classes of all time together. Two of the kids went to Penn State and stared their fresmen years. Miles will get recruits because he knows how.
I agree, 1 kid won't make a program. However, I would take Al Woods, Jai Eugene, Richard Dickson, Keiland Williams, Zhamal Thomas & Ricky Jean-Francois over much of "Saban's Talent".
forget it perple, you're trying to provide reasonable responses in the face of hysteria........the chicken little crowd is alive and well.
