Interestingly, Lloyd Carr is also a finalist. Quietly, he and UM are putting together a nice season. He is deserving IMHO, just for the fact that the team seemed completely out of it after week two...and apparently, he got them re-focused...and they've reeled off 8 in a row.

Why doesn't it surprise me that the American Heart Association is a fan of Coach Miles....Gee, go figure.

That's because he finished the hardest part of the schedule 0-2, then came the easy part :lol:

If anyone's "hard part of the schedule" includes Appy St., they don't belong in 1A.:lol:

I dont follow but the reason the American Heart Association is part of this award is because Coach Bryant suffered a heart attack shortly before he died.
