I'm hearing that a number of sec teams offered multi-year scholarships this time. Wondering if LSU followed suit? Florida went with the multi and Auburn coach Chizik was ask the same question, but said they offered one year renewable. Later the AD clarified and said they too offered multi-year schollies. Sounds like someone needs to keep Gene in the loop. Alabama went with the one year format and of course, soon, all this may become a lot more mandatory.

this class is going to be a good one because of the signings at linebacker. Linebacker has obviously been LSU's weakness on defense for the past 3 or 4 seasons. Kelvin Sheppard was a stud, but he was 1 guy. Alot is being made of LSU losing, but look how we lost them. Gunner Keil, lost because he wanted to stay closer to home, dude is from Indiana, can't really blame the coaching staff for that one. Landon Collins, in my opinion, if the kid's girlfriend was going to Middle Tennessee, Landon would be a blue raider. Can't really fault the staff for that either. Davis, the kid didn't want competition so he went to Texas, don't really need him, because playing in the SEC is alot tougher than playing in the big 12.

I'm satisfied with this class, we met needs, added some QB depth. LSU is going to be just fine.
