In his press conference, he takes the loss squarely on his shoulders. I personally don't fault him for this loss, but it is refreshing to see players are not getting thrown under the bus. He never once alluded to the play on the field. My hat's off to The Hat.:thumb:
I agree...it's OUR job to throw folks under the bus! Yes, Coach took full responsibility like a man...and I now feel better about next week. He seems very determined to make sure we're prepared.:thumb:
i just posted the following in another thread, but it is worth repeating.... 2. miles manned up and took responsibility. he did not throw his team under the bus. he's a bigger man than any of the males here.
Long live Coach Miles--no matter how stupid some of these posts are calling for Flynn to be benched and Miles to go off to Michigan. Losing hurts worse these days now that we don't lose very often.
Agreed. The nation will be berating him. I'm glad to see most of us, apart from some termites, are supporting him. The players? I'm about ready to look for that bus and how I would best get them under it.
Our players and coaching staff love Coach Miles. They will follow his lead. I like how he leads. Can't wait for next weeks game. I'm really pleased by all the great posting going on by our normal posters. It's a stark difference on how we are handling our loss compared to other teams. Florida for example wanted to blame everyone, their coaches, players and the officials. It's so good to be LSU! :thumb:
