I am watching the pro games on DirectTV on Sunday NFL Ticket. They were showing the end of the 1st half JAX/BUF and there was poor clock management on Buffalo's part. The commentator quipped "Les Miles just called and was wondering why the poor clock managenment." That's a kick in the nuts!! LSU is butt of all of the jokes today.
Les Miles will now be forever known as the epitome of a poor clock manager in football. He's gotten a free pass for his multiple blunders in the area of game management in the past, but this one was pretty huge.
It has been a rough day as an LSU fan. I am still hanging my head high in LSU gear but I have had more "rival" fans text email, etc just making fun of LSU because of Miles. People have pointed out his 1-9 record against the Nutt's, Saban, Meyers of the world among other things.... I am still not in the same camp as the Fire Miles types but it has been a rough Sunday to say the least. If we lose to Arkansas I may have to go into hiding. Kind of expected it has been years of LSU domination I guess everyone was waiting for this moment to return fire...
He was also mocked on gameday final. They did a stupid sounding voice that was answering postgame questions with "damn strong and hard fight an tough attitude". It was pretty much right on.
1-9? How is that possible, when Miles has a 2-3 record against Meyer, a 1-3 against Saban & 2-3 against Nutt?
I don't understand this. Today is Sunday and is a great day. Who cares what other people are saying about our team? And if you do, is it really bad enough to ruin your day?
