Re: Flynn to start in 07 makes no sense for Perrilloux to bolt. He will be the starter in 08, the same time he could start anywhere else he goes.
Re: Flynn to start in 07 That's what I am hoping Ryan is content with. I also think Crowton will get Ryan on the field much like Tebow was used for Florida I like the fact that Flynn knows he's the man, and can focus on being the best QB he can be next season.

Re: Flynn to start in 07 He didn't make an announcement. He praised the senior front-runner for the starter job, what's wrong with that? He didn't dis Perilloux. In fact he added a lot of qualifiers ("comfortably appears to be") which is coachspeak for "he could lose it". There is going to be a spring battle for the start, now that Russell is gone. The more experienced senior and bowl MVP is the leading candidate, but it ain't set in stone by a long shot. Perilloux hasn't stayed here this long to pass up his first real shot at starting. There is a new OC and quarterback coach, there is a new offense. Perilloux plans to start in September. So does Flynn. It is going to be a contest.

Flynn has patiently waited. I think he is going to be a major star for the Tigers. Can't wait to see what he does when he is completely at the helm. On the other hand, if Perilloux earns it, it should be his. Damn I can't stand the wait.
