1. This is a non-issue, IMO. All new coaches try to do something a little different to put their stamp on the program. No big deal.

We're obviously bored waiting for our first home game...
  2. It is because our history and tradition is sacred.
  3. I think its the ghosts of LSU football past.
He is undefeated but really that isn't saying much right now since we
    haven't even started SEC play.
Your only as good as your last game or season.
If Miles has success at LSU he will be like a god like NS was but until
then he has some work to do.
Look how many coaches we went through since Mike Archer.

This is why Brady is so controversial, he was less proven than Less was
and hasn't done much lately although I give him credit for a good season
    last year.
If you look at the years before that, quite a different story but I don't
want this thread about Brady, please.
It was just an example, he was and still is criticized because he didn't come
from Duke or a basketball school, he came from Samford.
  4. When I was in the band, Coach Saban asked Wickes to play a song during 3rd down instead of just 1st and 2nd, so this is nothing new.
  5. tell me about it....any more axious, and I'll split at the sides!

  6. Thats what I was saying. Its the latter that makes for something special. Word of mouth is the most powerful way to get things started.
  7. Why not? We sang it in Tiger Band and it was a really emotional thing for us. I say it's a good idea.
  8. Things like this are emotional if done once and a while or spontaneously. It becomes old hat after a while. I can't see someone with a red shirt getting emotional about this for 5 years. More than likely his Senior year last home game something like that . Or maybe we don't plan on winning very much.
  9. lol, I was mocking you

  10. I know you were trying to.

but in the process you made a valid point.
