http://www.wafb.com/story/20506304/minter-ill-ride-or-die-with-coach-miles (LSU got Minter from Georgia, he was the rated the #4 middle linebacker in the nation as a recruit, and had offers to Southern Cal, Oklahoma, Nebraska, South Carolina, West Virginia, etc) "I'll ride or die with Coach Miles," says Minter by phone, who made an incredible 19 tackles in the loss, "There's a reason I went there to play. He's a great man. Any time you're a high profile coach like him, you're going to get scrutinized." Minter also shared his thoughts on deciding to go pro after an incredible junior season. ... "Talking to my family, just seemed right. I had a real good season. The draft boards have me high. It's always hard leaving an institution like LSU." When asked what memory at LSU stood out the most, it was hard to pinpoint one. "Just the whole experience. Being part of a tradition like that, a winning tradition, is unreal. I just appreciate the opportunity to wear the purple and gold. It's something I'll always take with me. I'm proud to be an LSU Tiger."
I don't subscribe to "wheels falling off the bus" but LSU did finish with at least one flat tire and the treads are wearing thin on the others.
didn't TCU finish 7-5? kinda sucks when you have to play better teams. basically you have no wheels to spin, flat or otherwise..welcome to the big 12.
I can tell you watched a bunch of TCU games this year..........yes they have the wheels and they are in much better shape than you will ever know for sure. The good news is TCU has Gary Patterson and LSU does not...............yet. Like someone else said, any team has a chance in a CLOSE game with LSU at the end as long as Les Miles is standing on the other sideline. He proved that point at least twice this year.
LSU offense #76 offense SEC. gary patterson TCU offense #75 offense big 12. Do not want your coach at all, ever.
Kevin Minter is a class act, but he plays defense. Last I checked, defense was never a problem this year unless/until they were hung out to dry by our inept offense that was not able to sustain drives to let them catch their breath.
