Why I couldn't make it: work.

I've known for a while that I couldn't get away from the office, and I thought I was ok with just watching it on TV and saving some money. Until today. Reading all of the dispatches from the Quarter and getting texts and photos all day has me really bummed. I was there 4 years ago and had the time of my life.

A toast to all Tiger fans, especially those being kept away from the party by grownup things like job, family, etc.

Yeah, I'm a Controller with a year-end close so the newer format of a Monday night championship game makes it virtually impossible to miss two days of work. I told myself after the Ohio St game that I needed to find a new job with a company that has a non-12/31 year-end but it's now four years later and in the same situation.

I was there for OU on 1/4/04 and was also the time of my life so makes it tougher like you said.

I'm at work, wishing I wasn't, but even worse than that is knowing that I will have to be at work tomorrow.

For the love of Les Miles, WHY can't the BCSNCG be on a freakin' weekend?

Still half-sick so staying home yet again. Maybe one day I'll make it... next year?

I made the first 2 in the SuperDome, but now live overseas. (Which is mainly good, but not for things like this.) THe game will be on at 4:30 a.m. Tues my time. Slingbox better work . . . .

Working on a talk I have to give on Wednesday. Watching it with good friends and good food, though.

I was planning on going to NO to hang with my brother (the smart one who scored tix on Nov 7) and visit the parents in BR and watch the game with another brother and the old man. Plans changed, I had a week delay waiting on a friggin PO#. I had to come to Waycross GA yesterday instead of last Tuesday. I checked into the same motel I was at on Nov 5th. One room over from the one then. I got to the door and saw the number 303, wow I got an omen experience. 3 wins in a row against Bammer, 0 as in oh also 3 BCS titles. Geaux Tigers, kick that Gump ass and bring home the double hat trick in the duece.

Dont feel to bad I'm stuck at work at University Hospital. (spitting distance from the superdome). Stuck here with no ticket and not able to go tale gating but forced to watch. I think some level of hell is like this. :angryfire
