Moffitt is one of the people Bertman mentioned had an option to stay or not. What I mean is that part of the conditions of hiring Miles was that Moffitt (along with a couple others who I can't remember) would have the option to stay at LSU on Les' staff if they wanted to. This is great news if he ineed opted to stay!
Well...at least we got Moffitt. Skip negotiated his guaranteed position into the contract, good move SKip.
I am extremely happy to hear this, because he is the cornerstone of the program. I played highschool football with Glenn Dorsey (Go big PUTT!) and as I was talking to Glenn on the phone the other day, he told me that the weight program is the most important part of the team. there's not one player on the whole team that doesn't play with explosive power, and if we lost Moffitt it would be a HUGE setback.
