College football on Monday night... I love it. I watched the game with about 2 dozen of my closest friends in Austin. We had a crawfish boil and plenty of beer. We were all pulling for LSU (with the exception of one jackass from Arkansas). Y'all looked badass in the 1st half. What the hell happened???

Anyway, I hope Texas does a home and away series w LSU soon. We've got plenty of gaps in our non-conf schedule in the next few years. Any thoughts on the probability of this happening???

I want Carl Reese back you can have Pellini then we'll talk about a series.
The coaches are the problem thats what happened.

Texas won't schedule LSU because we already recruit so well in Texas and the Horns aren't looking to give more texas kids an LSU showcase. May not be such a problem in a year or two.

I'd kick someones ass if we scheduled a home an away with TX at this point (not that it would happen). I'm trying to figure out how we can get FL off the schedule. :hihi:

Non-conf games against big name schools is the best part of college football. Early in the season, they really mean something unlike non-BCS bowl games which are meaningless. Texas has lost ore than its share of them but win or lose, I'd much rather see Texas play LSU than Rice, North Texas, LA Lafeyette, etc. I'm sick of big name programs playing glorified high school teams.

    and of course... Hook 'em!
