I found this on AL.com. Thought it was interesting.

A development Friday may have stalled any official acceptance by Fisher. Georgia Tech coach Chan Gailey has been asked to interview for the Dolphins job Saban vacated, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Should Gailey get the Dolphins job, Fisher likely would be a candidate to coach the Yellow Jackets. News staff writers Kevin Scarbinsky and Ray Melick contributed to this report

From my perspective, that's the most realistic option for Fisher that fits his career goals (being a head coach) and not simply making a bunch of lateral moves.

And remember, GT has a pretty good looking, young QB in Taylor Bennett (300 yards passing and 3 scores in their bowl loss) and Jimbo has a history of being credited for developing young QB's.

from a friend of mine...fsu guy

    __________________________________________________________

apparently bama has stopped going after Jimbo...and the only hang up with FSU is a contract issue...looks like FSU is trying to make it very difficult for Jimbo to leave after a year or two...Bowden and TK (FSU President) are ready to move on...and if they don't hear anything from Jimbo today they are going to pull the offer and make plans to go after other coaches.

this is where it gets fun...looks like bama and FSU will be going after the same guy again...USC's OC Steve Sarkisian....FSU has also has resumed talks with Valdosta State HC Chris Hatcher...they are going to try and schedule an interview next week...if the Fisher deal falls through.

KTVB in Boise, Idaho is reporting that $aban called and offered bama's OC job to Brian Harsin, the Bronco's OC. It seems $aban was very impressed with the Boise St. offense in their win over OK (who wasn't?).. But Harsin said no thank you.

    Stop listening to the media.

You keep spelling Saban with a $ sign. Would you like for me to explain the gambling debts that TT left in MS...????

This is a subject you need to reign your feelings in on...and just watch it happen.

    As in, pine box.

The Dolphins will not take a huge step back and pick Gailey.

High-zinger has got to save face and bring in a big name. Ironically, he's in the same boat Bama was in after Rich Rodriguez said no thanks.

Terry, have you ever thought about spending some time elsewhere? Just asking. Your constant advice on what others should do is getting old.
