For those of you who are relatively new to watching (and enjoying) women's bball, I'm predicting that tonight's game between Duke and Minnesota will be great.

Duke plays an exciting style (Alana Beard from Shreveport was in the running for POY), and Minnesota has Lindsey Whalen, a great guard, who is just back from a broken hand injury. I'd recommend cheering for Minnesota because they're the big underdog. I'm cheering for them because I hate Dook (I'm a UNC alum). =) Go Gophers!

I actually enjoyed the game last night except for all of the layups we missed. A lot of blocked shots by both teams where the girls actually jumped instead of standing on their toes. Great athletes on the court, up tempo game, Semoine is incredible and Tameeka is exciting to watch, much better than Whipple that's for sure. Good shooting by both teams. And let me tell you, Semoine hitting 65% of her shots for an entire tourney is incredible, just incredible.
