with kentucky derby coming up, this one is for mr. peabody for enjoying our company: (and i know he's not from kentucky) peabody hotel's mint julep yield 1 serving 3 mint leaves 2 teaspoons superfine sugar 2 ounces kentucky bourbon ice 3 1/2 oz. water attitional mint for garnish 1. muddle mint leaves in the bottom of a glass until mixture is pasty. muddle means to mash or crush ingredients with a spoon or a muddler, a rod with a flattened end. 2. combine sugar with mint mixture. 3. pull out spoon or muddler and gently press it against the rim of glass to add flavor and aroma. add bourbon. 4. fill glass with ice and finish with water. mix well. garnish with mint.
