right well that is a stretch. to the extent the univerity wants to pretend that womens sports are the equal of men's and we s a society must lie about this to ourselves, then yes, LSU plays along. but womens sports lose money. all of them do at universities. mulkey isnt wotth her salary, unless we start assigning financial value to pretending like womens sports are entertaining and people like them, which they dont, as proven by the financials. even LSU gymanstics, which packs the PMAC, is a huge cash drain. college womens sports is generally a catastrophic financial loss but is required for title IX, which is based on the false premise that women care about sports as much as men and therefore deserve just as much opportunity. this is why we dont have mens soccer at LSU, because we have to fill a bunch of huge rosters with women in sports that nobody cares about for the sake of equality. data supporting my point about gymanstics show LSU and NCAA in general losing massive cash: https://www.scoreforscore.com/scoredata/post/90
