1. After having several positive comments and a few questions about my new avatar, I thought I'd fill you in on where it came from.

I am an old guy, you're all pretty well aware of that. But even I am not as old as the avatar pic. It is actually a c. 1934 sticker that was sold at the "LSU Student Store, Baton Rouge, La."

I bought a group of four old, old stickers from the father of one of my old LSU school pals.

Here are the four old stickers, for those who care:

  2. This could easily become another one of my favorite threads! Those are GREAT!

Anybody else got cool LSU stuff new or old? Post it and let us see!
  3. wow those are amazing.
  4. I think I have one of those.
  5. I remember those very well..........course, I'm not far behind you.

I'm pretty sure they were on notebooks my father had when he went to LSU.

I have one of those OLD LSU pennants signed by Billy Cannon- I'll get a pic of it and post it here later.
  6. Here's another oldie. Hard to find this logo!

  8. Yet we're still stuck with Toonces. Thanks for nothing LSU.
  9. The tiger in your avatar is what a "real" tiger should look like. Why can't the marketing people at LSU phathom that ?
  10. Why don't we just use the "eye" as our logo?
