As far as being interviewed or considered

I have heard Davis, Petrino, Miles, Tuberville, and Nutt.

I think we could get and would like to see interviewed:

    1. Jeff Tedford
    2. Norm Chow
    3. Dan Hawkins
    4. Steve Spurrier
    5. Romeo Crennel
    6. Mike Price
    7. Rick Neuheisel
    8. Pat Hill

I know people say no to Neuheisel but look what he did at Colorado and Washington and look what those programs have done since he left. He is a fantastic coach, we could sign him to a CHEAP long term contract with a huge buyout for him to go elsewhere. Could be good for the health of the athletic department to get a top coach for $500,000 or less who has won Rose Bowls.

Who do you think we can get that you would like to see interviewed who is not being mentioned in the media?

The question that you should be asking is not look what RN did AT Colorado and Washington, but rather what he did TO them....left them in shambles. In no way, shape, or form should he be considered unless we want LSU on NCAA suspicion and probably on probation in the next 4-5 years.

One I haven't heard of being mentioned is Jimmy Johnson...which would be a great replacement in my mind. He seemed rather preturbed that NS hadn't taken the Dolphins gig as of last Sunday...and I'm wondering if there was more than meets the eye there...?

I think we could get #3 and #5 but thats it.

Tedford isn't coming and is dreaming by anyone who thinks we could even with 2+ million.
Chow has said he can't stand numerous aspects of being a HC.
Spurrier is staying at USC and even turned down more money.
    Price and Neuheisel....lord no

    Maybe Pat Hill

Jim Tressel might be interested in jumping ship at Ohio State. They just had to suspend the starting QB for the Alamo Bowl due to a booster giving him money.

    Run, Jim, run.

    1. Tedford - is happy in Cal, they are improving facilities for him, don't think he would like the South.
    2. Chow - now that Syracuse job is open, they will be looking at him, plus Bertman said he wants a coach with HC experience.
    3. Hawkins - has done great stuff at Boise, but don't think he is even on Bertmans radar. I just don't know how much our defense would struggle if this guy were here.
    4. Spurrier - will not renig on USC after signing his contract. He actually accepted less money then they offered, plus we don't have the golf facilities like South Carolina has.
    5. Crennel - although a decent coach, still don't think LSU is in the spot racially that would accept an African-American coach. I would love to be wrong, but I don't see this happening.
    6. Price - Bertman doesn't want the baggage that this guy brings. But I would be happy with him.
    7. Neuheisal - good coach but also brings baggage that LSU doesn't want to deal with.
    8. Pat Hill - don't know much about him.

what about mike bellotti @ Oregon? not a huge name but a very successful coach considering the program.

    75-34 @ oregon for 69%, 11-1 in 2001.

before he arrived, a .500 season was unimaginable.
