NC lifts LSU from 14th to 9th All-Time

    i thought we were #12 when 2003 started. a top 10 position is great for lsu and great ammunition against these puffy tiders, trojans and sooners who gloat about their football tradition. getting to the top 5 could take some time with this point system and about 2 or 3 more national championships. if there is one coach who can do it, we have him.

    We're 9th but alot of room seperates us from Texas @ #8. I did notice however that we have the 4th hardest schedule all time while USC is @ #16!

    The all time rankings is where tradition claims are based. Amazing to see 6 SEC teams in the top 25 and 8 in the top 30. Just shows how much tradition the SEC really has. We are now number 2 in the SEC but its going to be very difficult to catch Bama. They are way ahead and probably wont stay down forever.

    You can check out the AllTime Conf. rankings where the SEC is rated #1 by a pretty substantial margin.

    answers of mississippi and auburn would have also been acceptable.

    LSU is behind Southern when sorted by National Championship points. How do they figure that?
