http://www.orangepower.com/showthread.php?t=46897 In general they seem to be happy for Coach Miles and for LSU. I couldn't work up the courage to see how the Sooner board responded. :crystal: :crystal:
I've been to Soonerfans.com and 85% of that board hates everything about LSU and Miles. "Sooner logic" has always amused me.They feel LSU "backed in" and shouldn't have played. How fast they forget KSU AND a much better undefeated Auburn. Without question, they have been in 2 MNC games they had no business playing in and the results proved it. They feel LSU can not win a BCS game outside of LA. Ostink, can't win a BCS game in the last 4 tries, anywhere. They keep crowing about LSU playing a home game, perhaps they can take some of that wood that blows through the state every April/May, build a wood covered teepee that holds 80K and beg the NCAA to have another BCS game.:geaux:
Now that we're in the elite of the elite now, there are always going to be jealousy and haters trying to bring us down so we have to develop a thicker skin. Who cares what they say. They're just bitter that Stoops has lost his last 4 BCS games. As for LSU not being able to win outside the Dome, that's just lame attempt at smack. USC plays in the Rose Bowl, which is a quasi-home game for them. The old Miami teams actually to play in the Orange Bowl, they're actual home stadium where they had an NCAA record winning streak for like 5 years. I could go on and on. History is full of teams that have won NC at or near there home stadiums, so pay no attention to that dribble. LSU is the first school to win 2 BCS championships. There's only one first time for anything. That's pretty special to me.
That would be a logical argument had LSU gone to an Orange or Fiesta Bowl and lost, but last time I checked, you have to go play where you're told to go play. Oklahoma fans need to quit hating on LSU and realize that they can't win a BCS game... period... Boise ring a bell? How about WVU without Slaten and Rodriguez? How about that 100-0 loss vs. USC?
