Appears Edwards to the Dolphins, Campo to JAX. Are we really down to a Saints' position coach, or Bill Clay? Where in the heck is Phil Bennett these days? Last I heard of him he was the DC at Kansas State (?) Maybe someone can put a bug in Les' ear to look into hiring Bennett as DC. Tigers sucked under Hallman but the Bennett defense was actually pretty good and he's a good guy.
Crap, let me answer my own question Did a yahoo search, Bennett is the head coach of SMU and just signed a 2 yr extension. Oh well.

Did Bennett, Rouse, and RP schedule a visit the same weekend when you weren't expecting it? Damn..give Miles a chance to interview another DC candidate before we assume we are "stuck" with Brown or Clay. He will hire a good guy...that should be abundantly clear to anyone by now.
Re: Crap, let me answer my own question Not sure why everybody is freaking out here. Would you rather a less thought out candidate when we're about half way through the season? Or how about in the Rose Bowl, as we lower Leinert's draft status a couple rounds!
What makes me laugh is how some people thought Skip moved to fast to hire Miles. Now some people are saying Miles is moving to slow to hire a DC. Saban certainly had some LSU fans pegged right with his catastrophe syndrome comment....
As much as I would like to see a great DC hired right now it is more important to get the right guy than the quick one.
