I went to the '03 NCG and paid a lot for tickets and spent 2 years paying for them. I really want to go again but am really conflicted about spending 2 grand for a ticket plus air fare. I almost bought tickets on-line a little while ago and then decided not to. Every time I come on to this forum I want to say "To hell with it" and just do it. BTW no starving children,back alimony or serious debt problems but I am not wealthy. I need advice!:miles:
not sure....a friend of mine is still working on getting free duckets from herbie. not sure I could pay 2 grand per ducket myself.
How many times to do you expect the Tigers to play in National Championship? Are you going to save it for something down the line in life more worthwhile...thats what you need to ask yourself.
Just can't do it here. There's a few people I MUST watch the game with. My dad, my wife, and a friend. There's just no way we can feel good about paying the price it would take to all get seats together.
Not you, LVT. edyel, that's a hard call for me to make for someone else. I think your better judgement is speaking clearly though. You stopped yourself and now asking others so I'd guess you'd be better served to pass- just a hunch though.
Buy the ticket, drive down in your car, (its not that far!) sleep in your car or a cheap(er) BR Motel, the Tiger Faithful will feed you and fill you full of beer! Just tell them how and why your there! Tigerb8
Take the 2k and spend 1/2 that on a nice HD TV. Take the rest and throw a huge party for 20 of your closest LSU friends while you watch the game with buddies. Then you can watch all the LSU games almost live for years to come.
